Right after a few morning exercises, Tami Bear goes into his bear kitchen for a delicious and healthy breakfast. When his tummy is full, he visits Merry Toadstool Preschool to tell the children about the fascinating carrot adventure he experienced with his friend Mary. To his surprise, he notices that the children do not want to eat the delicious soup! They cover their mouths and push their plates away. All afternoon the bear is really worried and can't think of anything else! Back home, he sits down in his bear chair and falls asleep.

When he wakes up, he is surprised to discover that he is on a distant celery planet, inhabited by cheerful celerians. They inform Tami Bear that they brought him to their planet to help them solve their problems.
