It offers greater emphasis on problem-solving from real-world contexts plus practical guidance for teachers and easy-to-use planning and assessment support. These large coloured counters are easy to handle and are recommended to use in many different Numicon activities in Kit 3, for example with the Numicon printed baseboard, Numicon Shapes and so on. Use alongside the Numicon Teaching Guide and Numicon Activity Handbook. Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts.
