This edition contains the whole of Cleland's infamous book, which has been banned and prosecuted a number of times (including in the U.S.A. And Britain). It was finally published fully in the 1960s. It has been adapted in cinema and television many times. Fanny Hill is a beautifully written work, lyrical and down-to-earth as well as undoubtedly erotic. It still retains its controversial power.
